I have been a Social Studies teacher at Pearl River High for 17 years. This
school year, I will be teaching World Geography and Civics. My total years in
education are 29 years. I received my B.A. in social studies from
Southeastern University and obtained a masters degree in educational
administration from University of New Orleans.
My goals are to prepare students for the GEE that is taken in their junior
year. In World Geography, students will learn about the environment& culture
of countries. They also will be taught map skills. The major objective in
Civics is for students to develop an understanding of the structure and
purposes of government.
