Community Based Education--Shopping-Each week the students shop at local businesses to work on
various money skills and other objectivies. Dining-The students work on money skill, ordering
from a menu, and proper etiquette.
Community Based Vocational Education--The students participate in job training at local
businesses.
Community Services-The students access various community resources throughout the school year
such as the Post Office, Police Station, Town Hall, Recycling Center, Library, and area parks.
Classroom Cooking-Each week the students participate in a cooking lab to practice such skills as
measuring, following a recipe, and kitchen safety.
PAES lab(Practical Assessment Exploration System)-The students participate in the PAES lab which
is a hands-on program that works for carrer work development, assessment and training for High
School students in providing skills needed for successful transition to Adult Life.
Unique Learning and News 2 You- Each month we the students will be learning about a topic through activities focuses on all subject areas. This program is a supportive supplement to the Guaranteed Curriculum.
