2/25/13 - This would have been the plan:   Students shop at Target to shop for classroom supplies needed for our Annual Family Christmas Celebration.   They  will work  on various money skills and other objectives.
Dining at McDonald's- Students work on money skills, ordering from a menu and proper etiquette.

Community Services:
The students access various community resources throughout the school year such as the Post Office, Police Station, Town Hall,
Recycling Center, Library, area parks, etc.


Education in the Classroom

Classroom Cooking - Tuesday, 2/26/13
Each week the students participate in a cooking lab to practice such skills as measuring, following a recipe, and kitchensafety.

P.A.E.S. Lab (Practical Assessment Exploration System) Monday - Friday:
The students participate in the P.A.E.S. lab which is a hands-on program that works toward career work development, assessment, and training for high school students in providing skills needed for successful transition to adult life.

Unique Learning and News-2-You:
This month students are studying about "Plants & Animals".  Each month the students will be learning about a topic through activities focused on all subject areas.  This program is a supportive supplement to the Guaranteed Curriculum
