Wed. TLW begin leaning the skills and knowledge necessary on how to become an entry level CNA.
Thurs. Continue the lecture from Wed.
Fri. Complete worksheet on the info from Wed and Thurs.

Mon. Chap 14 lecture on resume writing and job interview techniques
Tues. Complete work to reinforce the lecture from the previous day.
Wed. Complete a hand written list on all the qualities you posses that would make you appealing to employers and share with class.
Thurs. Write a rough draft of a resume and let a parter read and correct it.
Fri. Type out the resume and turn it in to me.

Tues. Chap 13 unit 5 lecture followed by handouts for that unit.
Wed. We will go over splinting techniques and procedures
Thurs. We will learn how to sling an injured arm.
Fri. We will learn how to bandage a bleeding wound.

Mon. TLW practice how to take a BP on another person.
Tues. TLW take 3 vital signs on every person in their group. Heart rate, Respirations, and BP
Complete worksheets that come with BP and other vitals.
Wed. Begin sec 1 on chap 12(controlling infection) with a lecture and some worksheets.
Thurs. Start showing students different techniques associated with controlling infection.
Fri. Continue infection activity from Fri.
1/23/12-1/27/12
Mon. Go to library and find out the count on all the food from the food log.
calories, fats, proteins, and carbs
Tues. Complete library work.
Wed. Return to class from the library and add all the totals together and get accurate counts from each day. And from that come up with diet plans for each student.
Thurs. Finish diet plans and start learning how to read food labels.
Fri. Complete food label work and take a small quiz on food labels.
1/17/12-1/20/12
Tues. Introduction to diet projects and therapeutic diet lecture.
Wed. Students will be broken into groups and assigned a specific diet. Each group will design a poster board and present it to class upon completion.
Thurs. Continue doing poster board project.
Fri. Presentation of project( this is the test grade for this chapter)

Mon. Chapter 9 unit 4 lecture complete vocabulary words and discuss their meaning.
