Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012 We will evaluate the progress made towards our understanding of ratio and proportion wqith a popular quiz. (Quiz = 50 pts.) We will begin the project of making proportional drawings with a 2:1 drawing for 30 pts. Thurs. Jan. 12, 2012 We will Use proportions on similar polygons to find missing dimensions. (Ws#2-6) Fri. Jan. 13, 2012 We will continue our enlightenment of using proportions on Similar polygons. (Ws#2-8 &2-6 = 25 pts. Monday, January 2, 2012 End of Holiday Tuesday, January 3, 2012 We will enter the world of ratio and proportion by defining terms, discussing uses and examples and doing Ws #2-1. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012 We will continue our exploration of ratio and proportion by taking notes of properties of proportions and doing Ws#2-2. (Ws's 2-1 & 2-2 = 20 pts.) Thurs., Jan. 5, 2012 We will begin to understand the true usefulness of proportions by doing Ws#2-3. Fri., Jan. 6, 2012 We will continue working on Ws#2-3 for 25 pts. |
