A native Texan, I have lived and taught in Louisiana for the past 14
years. Previously, I taught high school English and journalism (Grades 9-12)
for 22 years in West Texas. Pitcher Junior High School has been my home
since moving to Louisiana.

My goal is to provide the students with the skills to function in the high
school setting and as adults. To read and write the English language
competently will help them in all walks of life. Learning to be organized
and and responsible for themselves is important.
