I'm originally from upstate New York, and moved to Chalmette in 1982. I
graduated from The Academy of the Holy Angels High School in New Orleans, and
received my BS in Educational Services from Birmingham-Southern College in
Birmingham, Alabama. After taking a year off, I recieved my teaching
certification from Tulane University College. I taught in St. Bernard Parish
for 3 years before coming to Pitcher in 1994.
I come from a family of teachers. My grandparents were a principal and a
teacher, I have an aunt and uncle who retired from teaching, and many
cousins who teach.
I'm married with two sons, ages 15 and 23, and a beautiful granddaughter.
