Parents and Students,
Welcome to another wonderful school year! I am Judith Reese, and I am happy
to be your first grade teacher. I have been teaching for over twenty-seven
years. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's
Degree in Special Education. I have two married children and six
grandchildren, so I have experienced all of the stages of child development.
I have taught abroad and stateside. Each year I travel abroad,
learning as much as possible about that country's culture in order to share
that knowledge with my students. This past summer was no exception. I
traveled to Panama. I visited an Embera Indian village and practiced my
Spanish. My husband and I fell in love with the country and hope to retire
there one day.
The school theme this year is "Toward Infinity and Beyond," and I am
looking forward to an exciting and challenging year. I have a lot of
wonderful experiences to share, and I know that you do as well. Please feel
free to contact me with any concerns and/or input. Teaching and learning is
a partnership, and my classroom door is always open!
