Our Curriculum:
Math: Chapter 10- Using Fractions in operations and using measurement ( This week we will be reviewing addition and subtraction of fractions, and we will begin measurement of length.)
Spelling: We are re-visiting the spelling of some commonly misused homonyms. ( Students will learn spelling and meanings)
Language: See Spelling. In addition, we will work on the use onamatopoeia, use of thesaurus, and writing good sentences.
Reading: Closing activities for Shiloh
Vocabulary: We will not begin Unit 3 of Orange Vocabulary until after Mardi Gras.
Handwriting: cursive strokes
Social Studies: Chapter 8 - Earning, Spending, and Saving
Science: Complete chapter 5 - Rocks, Soils, and Change
