Welcome! Thank you for your interest in volunteering in your child's school
library. Our volunteers help our large library run smoothly. There are many
opportunities to volunteer on a weekly, bi-weekly, or as-needed basis.
Library volunteers shelve books, "read" and straighten shelves, fill teacher
orders and make deliveries, assist children at the electronic card catalogs
and finding books on the shelves, and, of course, help with the book fair.
If you love books, are strong in putting items in alphabetical and decimal
order, and want to work with children, being a library volunteer is for you!
