My name is Lynn Calmes. I'm married and have three grown children and
one granddaughter who is three and so cute! I have a BA in Elementary and
Kindergarten Education, a masters degree in Reading, and a +30 in Teaching,
all from Southeastern LA Univ. I'm currently working on a degree in
counseling, also at SLU. I love to read, garden, shop, eat out, and hang out
with my family and friends. I have a great sense of humor and enjoy others
who have a positive outlook on life! My latest interests are yoga and other
relaxation techniques. I've been teaching for almost 29 years, thirteen of
those at Pontchartrain. I enjoy being around children, find them very
amusing and learn from them everyday!
I collect cute frogs which you will see around my classroom. My
favorite foods are seafood and pizza. I also love chocolate candy with nuts
and Turtles from Mandeville Bake Shop. I enjoy iced tea and Dr. Pepper.
My favorite places to shop are Stein Mart, Marshall's and Pier One.
