The 2011-2012 school year will be my tenth year of teaching kindergarten at
Pontchartrain Elementary School. I received my undergraduate degree from
Auburn University and a master's degree in early childhood education from
Louisiana State University. In 2009 I became a National Board Certified
Teacher in the area of Early Childhood Generalist.
I believe in a developmentally appropriate, hands-on classroom where children
learn through play. It is very important to me to establish a supportive and
loving classroom environment where the children and I believe in and support
each other.
I love teaching kindergarten and look forward to working with you and your
children this school year!
