This is my 5th year at Riverside but my 14th year teaching. I have taught
3rd Grade for over half my career. It is the best grade in school in my
opinion.
I was born in Baton Rouge and went to school there at LSU.
I am a huge LSU fan! Geaux Tigers! I have a daughter named Emma. She turned
3 in November.
I also like to run, swim and practice yoga. I have completed 7 marathons
(running 26 miles) and several 1/2 marathons (13 miles). I also just
completed my first triathlon (swim, bike, run) in July!
My husband, Mr. Ryan, owns and manages a running/walking/fitness store in
Mandeville called Varsity Sports.
I feel that every child can learn when placed in a positive and literature
filled environment. I plan to provide that environment! I want each child
to grow in all aspects of the curriculum and in their character.
