Hi, I’m Sandy Pope. I am from Picayune, MS and have been a resident
of Pearl River since 2003. I graduated from Picayune Memorial High
School and received my degree in education from William Carey College.
Throughout my eight years teaching, I’ve taught grades sixth, first, second,
fourth, and fifth (in that order).
I am married to my wonderful husband, Josh, and together we have an
amazing four-year-old, Emily Nicole. Besides taking care of my family and
playing with our dog, Cuddles, I enjoy shopping, camping, traveling, and
hanging out outdoors!
My goal this year is to instill a love of learning into the hearts of
all my students. I believe learning can be fun and exciting. It is vital
for the lines of communication to be open between the teacher, student, and
the student’s family. I will do my best to see that every child succeeds
this year.
