Talented Music is a performance based class. All students are expected to
practice their instrumental and/or vocal literature regularly. Homework will
generally not be given unless stated in the weekly lesson plan section to
look here for instructions.
Remember... practice does not make perfect, Perfect Practice makes Perfect!
A few things to keep in mind:
*always have necessary materials (music, metronome, tuner, pitch pipe, etc.)
*have a set warm-up routine
*practice technical passages SLOWLY
*don't neglect scale practice (instrumentalists)
*vocalists try to do a little sight singing at every practice session
*and last but not least FOCUS and BREATHE!
