I am Ms.C.Hawkins, I was born and raised in Slidell and I am proud to
be a former graduate of Salmen. I am tickled pink that I actually get to
teach where I attended school. Therefore, my commitment to my students is
sincere as they are a reflection of who I am. My students are the greatest
and I think of them as my extended family. I currently have over 15 years of
teaching experience and I am certified in English, Special Education,Virtual
Instruction and Art Education. As always, I am looking forward to a great
school year!

Freshman Academy
The goal of the SHS Freshman Academy is to transition ninth graders
successfully into self-sufficient, self-reliant, accountable high school
students through a partnership with students, educators, and parents.
