I have been a teacher in St. Tammany Parish for the past twelve years, and
I have taught English as a Second Language (ESL) during all of these twelve
years. I have also taught Secondary English GEE Remediation classes
recently during the previous two summers.
I have a Master's +30, and I am also a National Board Certified Teacher in
English as a New Language, Early Adolescent through Young Adult. I received
my Master's Degree in Secondary Education at LSU, and my Louisiana Teacher
Certifications are in English as a Second Language, and Secondary English.
My class mission is for everyone in my class to feel that they have a safe
environment in which they may take risks in learning to speak, read, write,
and comprehend the English language.
