How can my child makeup a test for an excused absence?
The student has up to two days after returning to make arrangements with
the teacher to makeup the test before or after school.

Will my child be able to catch up on classwork?
Students may make arrangements with the teacher to come into the lab during
lunch or after school to complete classwork before the deadline. Work will
be accepted without penalty up to one week after the deadline.

What type of homework assignments will be given?
Students may be assigned a variety of homework assignments (handouts,
computer practice, Internet, etc.) If assignments require access to a
computer or the Internet,students will be allowed ample time to use the
library or computer lab at school during their free time.

How will I know if my child can pass the certification test?
Each student will be monitored closely throughout the course to determine
their ability to pass the Microsoft Office Certification exam. Practice
tests will be given throughout the course and the teacher will send a letter
home to the parent when she feels the student is ready to take the test.
