Unit Description: Continue practice with all regular and irregular verbs. Introduce verb phrases. Continue learning about Dia de los Muertos
Essential Questions: Can students recognize patterns in Spanish verb conjugation? Can students identify and use the verbs which don’t follow the regular patterns? Can students use more than one verb together in a verb phrase? Can students explain the Dia de los Muertos

Students will review and practice with all irregular verbs

Finish watching Dia de los muertos video and write paragraph.

Students will work independently to create 13 questions in the “tu” form using the 13 verb phrases
Students then work in pairs to ask and answer each others questions.
(using the tu and yo forms to ask and answer)
They must record their partners answers in third person |
Check homework
Students will report to class about the person they interviewed, using the verb phrases in 3rd person. |
Check homework.
Students will take turns adding sentences onto the class story
. Everyone must copy and illustrate the story. |
