Student Learning Activities:

Ttw have the students write the 6 sum/difference formulas written on the board into their notebooks.

Ttw work Examples 1-3 on pages 368-369

Guided Practice: tsw work 1, 7,and 35 on page 372 in the text book.  Ttw walk around while the students are working to answer any questions.

Independent Practice: page 372, 2-6(just the a part) evens, 8-20 every other even, 24-30 evens, and 36-42 evens

Bellringer: 3 ACT practice problems on the ELMO

Ttw walk around and check last night’s homework while the students are working on the bellringer

Ttw go over last night’s homework with the students and answer any questions the students may have

Next, ttw work Examples 5-7 on pages 370-371

Independent Practice: page 373, 48-62 evens

Bellringer: 3 ACT practice problems

Ttw walk around and check last night’s homework while the students are working on the bellringer.

Ttw go over last night’s homework by having volunteers come up to the board and work their problems

Next, ttw have the students write the double-angle formulas in their notebooks.

Ttw work Examples 1-4 on pages 375-377 in text book

Guided Practice: tsw work numbers 1-11 odds on page 382
