Reading is a learned skill, like playing an instrument or hitting a baseball. Improving as a reader takes time, patience, and practice. The best way to get better at it is to do it as often as you can.
So go ahead--pick up a book. Visit the library. Open a magazine or the newspaper. Talk to your friends about what they're reading. Do it today!
