***We are in need of the following: gallon jugs, quart containers, pint containers to practice measurement. We want to use REAL LIFE containers for our measurement practice such as milk, juice containers. If you could donate a container/jug it would be appreciated :)
Homework for February 6-10, 2012
Math: We will be having a Unit Test this week, homework will be a Review Sheet due back on THURSDAY so we can go over it in class.We will be working on multiplication/division word problems. Practice skip counting (this helps with multiplication) and practice multiplication facts. Any binder work we are doing in class (Multiplication, DROP, MT. MATH ) not completed in class will be homework as well.
ELA-- Unit Test
Homework: work pages will be sent home to review reading strategies.
A review sheet will be sent home for grammar due back on Thursday.
Practice all spelling and Vocabulary words from Unit Three.
Read Chapter Book every night and practice using the following reading strategies: Inference( use clues to figure out what is not told), plot/setting, cause/ effect and sequence (put in order , use time words- ex. first, second).
Social Studies--
Monday-- Begin chapter 8 and work book pages.
Any binder work/activities not completed in class will be homework as well--Louisiana Dailies, DOG.
Science-- Review Chapter 3 , test on Wednesday. Binder work/activities not completed in class will be homework as well--Science Dailies.
