What is the Daily Folder?

 
This folder should come back and forth each day.  Classwork, 
homework, tests, and special notices will be stored in this 
folder.

How will I receive my child's grades each week?

Tests will be sent home every Wednesday in the daily folder.  
Please sign the description page and return the whole packet.  If 
you wish to keep the tests to go over with your child, please 
just write a note on the description page.

When is the best time for a conference?

I am available for conference Monday-Friday at 8:00.  If you need 
another scheduled time, let me know and we will work something 
out.

How do students earn fish?

Students earn FISH for choosing a good attitude, making another 
person's day, being there,and having fun while learning.  Please 
be sure your child is in school and ON TIME every day.

What is Fun Friday?

Fun Friday is a weekly reward for students who complete classroom 
assignments, earn required Accelerated Reader points, exhibit 
good behavior, and complete ALL homework assignments.  Students 
who do not return all completed homework by Thursday will NOT be 
allowed to participate in Fun Friday.

Are students allowed to have water bottles?

Students are allowed to bring a water bottle.  For sanitary 
reasons, please be sure your child brings the bottle home every 
day.

Are students allowed to bring snacks?

Students are allowed to bring a snack to school each day.    
Suggested sancks are: chips, cookies, popcorn, crackers, or 
fruit.  Sunflower seeds and Ramen noodles are NOT allowed to be 
eaten in the classroom.  They MAY be taken outside during snack 
recess.

Can students bring treats for birthdays?

Can we bring a treat for birthdays?

If you would like to bring a small treat ( cookies, cupcakes, 
drinks,etc.) for the class on your child's birthday please come 
at afternoon recess 2:15 to 2:30. Please send a note to let me 
know which day.
