CLASS NEWS: What a colorful week we had last week! Each day was filled with many activities and we had a lot of fun listening to the color songs. Last Tuesday we read Clifford stories, painted Clifford the Big Red Dog and learned about the opposites - "Big & Small." We also read The Carrot Seed and painted things that are orange. On Wednesday, we painted suns for the color yellow and frogs for the color green. We had so much fun singing the songs - "Mr. Sun" & "Five, Green and Speckled Frogs." Thursday we learned the Nursery Rhyme - "Little Boy Blue" and colored bluebirds. We also listened to the story - Harold and the Purple Crayon and made our very own Miss Shawn's Class and the Purple Crayon artwork. Friday we listened to the story Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? and learned the Nursery Rhyme - "Baa, Baa Black Sheep." Thank you to all who participated in our color Show & Tell. The kids enjoyed sharing their special items.
Last Thursday we also had a special visitor - Fr. Luis! He visited us on Mary's Birthday. We leaned how Mary is the mother of Jesus and also our mother, too. We sang "Happy Birthday" to Mary and Fr. also read the Bible story - "Creation" to us. Father was so Proud of how well behaved and smart the children are and will be coming back to visit again soon - We can't wait!
