Summer Reading

INCOMING FIFTH, SIXTH, and SEVENTH GRADERS: Read TWO books from the appropriate list below. Write summary notes including the title, author, genre, main character(s) including name, physical description, and personality, conflict, and theme for EACH BOOK. Find 20 unfamiliar words in each book. Type a list for each with the definitions. This means you should have 20 words for each book. Bring your summary notes and typed definitions for each book the first day of school. You will use your notes to write a summary about both of your books in class.
