Chapter 18

Chapter 19
1. Jesus rose from the dead on Easter Sunday. That was three days
after He died. That means His body came back to life again.

from the dead, taking up His body that had been buried.

Chapter 21
1. Jesus spent forty days with His Apostles after He rose from
the dead. Jesus was teaching them to be leaders in the Church.

the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
3. The Church baptizes new Catholics just as the Apostles did;
through baptism Catholics enter the Church and receive grace.

Chapter 25
1. God has given me many gifts such as:
Jesus, my life, the world, my family, my friends
2. The gospel is the part of the Bible that tells the Good News.

4. We receive Grace in Baptism.

6. God speaks to us in Mass so we must listen to God's word in the

8. A sacrifice is when a person goes without something, out of

10. Our Lady of Fatima appeared six times to three shepherd children.
She asked the children to say the rosary every day and to wear a
brown scapular. May 13th is her feast day.

Chapter 27
1. We follow Jesus and learn how to live as God's children.
2. A child of God tries to do these things:
obey my parents, tell the truth, do my chores and homework,
being kind to others, forgive those that hurt me
3. Jesus wants us to pray often to Him--pray in the morning and
through out the day. Do you kneel next to your bed?
4. Ask God to forgive your mistakes of the day and be sorry for
your sins. Pray for others and thank God for your blessings.
5. Saint is a good person who has died and gone to Heaven to be
with God. We should try to become a saint.
6. Do I love God with all my heart? Do I try to learn more about
God each day?
7. Jesus taught the Apostles how to pray and taught them
to pray the Our Father.
8. Prayer is talking to God. You can use prayers you have learned
or just tell Him what you are thinking.
9. When I follow Jesus I am a disciple.
10. A disciple is a person that puts Jesus first in their lives.

Chapter 28
1. God made me to know, love, and serve Him. One day I will be
in Heaven with God.
2. Heaven is our true home. Jesus will come again and take all
the good people to Heaven with Him.
3. Saints are in Heaven with God as a reward for their faith,

5. Yes, we can get ready for Heaven by loving God.

Jesus rose from the dead on Easter Sunday. Our bodies will be

God's children.
11. We genuflect which is to kneel down on our right knee and make
the Sign of the Cross to honor Jesus in the tabernacle.
