Conduct/Discipline

Students are expected to be respectful, well mannered Christian children. The class rules reflect the kind of behavior that is expected.

The class rules are explained to the students and are posted in the classroom. Students will earn a quarterly conduct grade based on the behavior exhibited each day. Every child will begin each quarter with a 100%.

Consequences for students who do not follow the rules and policies are as follows:

1st offense - verbal warning

2nd offense - 1 point deducted from conduct grade

3rd offense - 1 point deducted from conduct grade and written punish work to be signed by a parent and turned in the following day

4th offense - 5 points deducted from conduct grade and conduct notice

5th offense - see administrator

Students who demonstrate good behavior are rewarded with verbal praise, special treat, or a chance ticket. At the end of each week 3 chance tickets are pulled and those students may choose a prize from the treasure chest.
