Mrs. Murray and I are very excited to get the opportunity to teach your
children! We are both very devoted teachers, and thank you for entrusting
your children to us this year.
Teacher - Mrs. Gonzalez:
I have been married for 7 years to David Gonzalez. We have one son, who
attends K3 at St. Joseph. We are originally from San Antonio, Texas. My
husband is in the USAF, which has recently relocated us here in Louisiana. I
am excited to get to know Shreveport and especially all the community here at
St. Joseph. We attend Mass here at St. Joseph as well.
I have a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and a BA in
Psychology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. I am certified in Early
Childhood Education in both Texas and Louisiana. I have also pursued
graduate course towards a Masters degree in Reading, in the near future. I
have taught Kindergarten and First grade for three years. This is my first
year at St. Joseph Catholic School.
Paraprofessional- Mrs. Murray:
My husband and I have been married for 20 years. We have two children. Kyle
is 15 and Kelli is 12. I taught for three years at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
Mother's Day Out and I am really looking forward to my second year at SJS.
Our Class Mission is to provide spiritual, emotional, and academic support
to ensure that our little ones enjoy their K4B experience and are prepared
for Kindergarten.
