You can order books from the flyers I send home or any other
flyers that you wish from Scholastic. The prices are very
reasonable and are less expensive than buying them from a
bookstore.

Scholastic Book Clubs
This page has the phonogram pronunciations along with the hints
that go with each phonogram. It also has the handwriting
instruction for each letter of the alphabet using the clock face.

This site has handwriting practice, letter/phonics practice and
number practice.
KidZone
This link has activities, games and information for parents that
is related to our reading series. Each Unit has games,
vocabulary builders, and other books you can read to your child
that pertain to our reading unit.

PBS Kids
This link has information on all types of communicable diseases
that might affect you or your children. The CDC is the
government agency that hospitals in our area rely on for
information about things like H1N1.
Centers for Disease Control - CDC
You can create a handwriting page of your own or just handwriting
paper on it. Or if you just go to www.handwritingforkids.com
there are other worksheets on it for older kids.
Handwriting for Kids
This is a wonderful Encyclopedia that our school has to do
research questions that your child may have about something. It
is designed for children to use.

Remember the Public Library. There are many wonderful children's books and
videos that can be checked out for free. The Broadmoor Branch is very close
to the school and has a large Children's section.
