About The Teacher

    Welcome back to School!!! Hope your ready for a Great YEAR!!! I am very 
excited to be teaching the wonderful students of St. Joseph's!
 
    I am from the New Orleans/ Mandeville Area and decided to stay in 
Shreveport after meeting my husband, and the devastation of Hurricane 
Katrina. I Graduated from Louisiana Tech in Ruston in 2005. I originally 
pursued the Education Major, but decided to go forth with Psychology, 
because I took a major interest in my Child Psychology classes.
   I am currently following my Education Dream and working on my Teaching 
Certification while taking classes at Louisiana State University in 
Shreveport.
   I will also be directing KJOE with Mrs. Redmond this year! We are both 
very excited to bring some talent and great topics to the morning 
announcements!

   While parents generally feel up to the challenges of most other subjects, 
math stands out as the greatest challenge and the greatest source of 
frustration. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me

Your childs time and learning in my class is very important and I will do 
everything I can to make Math a wonderful and fun subject!!!
