"Recess is an integral part of the school day. Time spent outside affords
children a break from the structure of the classroom. We want our students to
be comfortable in the school setting.
Students will go outside for recess when the temperature is 45 degrees or
above. (Wind chill factors will be taken into consideration.) Teachers will
monitor the “Feels Like” temperature at weather.com to determine whether
recess will be inside or outside. Muddy or wet playground conditions will
remain a factor to be considered when determining outside recess. Please make
sure students are properly attired for outside recess.
Due to time constraints on early dismissal and Mass days, recess may be
inside."
