Hi! I am Katie Saravia. This is my fourth year at St. Joseph and I am so
excited to teach all of your eager 3rd graders. I am married and have two
children - Lauren and Isaiah.
I received a B.S. in Environmental Science in 2003 from LSUS and earned my
teaching certificate in May 2009, also from LSUS. I'm looking forward to a
great year!
Hey! I am Michelle Talley. I am a native Texan and moved to Shreveport to
play soccer for LSUS. Go Pilots! This is my second year at St. Joseph and I
am so excited to be teaching third grade again. I recieved a B.S. in
Psychology at LSUS in 2009 and I am now working on earning my teaching
certification. I am looking forward to a great year!
It is our goal to prepare your children to enter fourth grade with strong
math computation skills, great reading comprehension, organizational skills
that help them keep their stress levels low, and social skills that help
them behave appropriately in a variety of settings.
