Wow, summer is already over and we are back at school! I am thrilled to
be at Sumner Middle once again.I am very enthusiastic about writing and the
writing process and hope that all students are eager to learn.
I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a degree in
education. The 2008-2009 school year will be the beginning of my eighteenth
year of teaching and my twelfth year at Sumner. I will do my best to present
meaningful, well-planned lessons to my students. Hopefully, they'll come
prepared to learn. If so, I'm sure we'll have a successful year.
I am originally from Lafourche Parish. I have three sons all of whom
graduated from Sumner High School. I hope to have a great year with all my
students, and with hard work and a great attitude I’m positive all students
will be successful!
