In the beginning of the year, homework is copied as a group in class.
Students are encouraged to become independent about copying homework and
bringing the appropriate materials home daily.
My goal is for students to become lifelong readers. Our classroom library
is stocked with books at various reading levels. Nightly independent
reading is a huge part of student success. The reading log should be
completed daily as a response to what was read.
