What is the STPSB policy on attendance?
As you know, a letter was sent out in May 2010 to parents
outlining the new state law that sets 10 ABSENCES as the maximum
number allowed per year. Students absent for one or two days due
to illness may bring a note from a parent, but absences of three
or more days will require a note from a doctor, nurse
practitioner, or dentist. Student absences due to a death in the
family or religious holiday of the child's faith may also be
excused, but the total number of absences excused or not excused
SHOULD NOT EXCEED 10. Family trips will not be excused.
How do I access my math book online, so I do not have to ever carry my book home?
1. Go to http://www.classzone.com
2. Select Math either for Middle School.
3. Select Louisiana under state.
4. Click on Go and Find Your Book.
5. Click on the appropriate textbook:
McDougal/Littell Math Course 2.
6. At the bottom of the screen, click Online Book.
7. Click continue on the "Online Book Copyright Notice" screen.
8. Under Returning Visitor, enter the followiing:
Username: student.stpsb
Password: textbooks
Click submit.
9. The Online Book will come up on the next screen.
How do I access my Literature book online, so I do not have to ever carry my book home?
1. Go to http://www.classzone.com
2. Select Math either for Middle School.
3. Select Louisiana under state.
4. Click on Go and Find Your Textbook.
5. Click on McDougal/Littell Literature Grade 7.
6. At the bottom of the screen, click Online Book.
7. Click continue on the "Online Book Copyright Notice" screen.
8. Under Returning Visitor, enter the followiing:
Username: student.stpsb
Password: textbooks
Click submit.
9. The Online Book will come up on the next screen.
How do I access my Social Studies book online, so I do not have to ever carry my book home?
1. Go to http://www.pearsonsuccessnet.com
2. Select Social Studies for Middle School.
3. Select Louisiana under state.
4. Click on Go and Find Your Book.
5. Click on the appropriate textbook
6. At the bottom of the screen, click Online Book.
7. Click continue on the "Online Book Copyright Notice" screen.
8. Under Returning Visitor, enter the followiing:
Username: gatorsgr6
Password: student
Click submit.
9. The Online Book will come up on the next screen.
