Hi!
This is my fifth year as librarian at University Elementary School and I am
looking forward to an awesome school year.
I have a BS from the University of Florida, Go Gators, and a MLIS from
Florida State University. I am also a member of the American Library
Association, American Association of School Librarians, Louisiana Library
Association, Caddo Association of School Librarians, Phi Delta Kappa, and Phi
Kappa Phi Honor Society.
I am originally from New York and Connecticut, but I lived in Central
Florida for almost 30 years. My husband, three daughters, my mom, and I
relocated to Shreveport in August 2007. We all very excited to now call
Louisiana home.

My first objective is to motivate students to READ. My second objective is
to teach students how to effectively use information resources
which will enable them to meet their educational and recreational
information needs.
