I am so excited that you have visited our class webpage. I want to tell you
a little about myself. I graduated from LSUS with a Bachelor's Degree in
Elementary Education 1st-8th grade. I have attended Graduate School at LSUS
and Louisiana Tech. I finished the courses for my Reading
Specialist Certification. This is my 9th year to teach 2nd grade. I really
love this age group because they grow up and become independent so quick.
It's amazing to watch them blossom.
I am married to a wonderful guy, Brian Stier, who is an accountant with
McElroy Metal. We have a little girl, Anna Grace, who was born October 22,
2007. She is the apple of our eye. We also have a Chihauhau named Tiki
that we adore.
I look forward to working with all of you and your children. Together we
can make this a great school year.
The mission at University Elementary is to create a safe learning
environment with high academic expectations for all children.
