| You can at any time request that the counselor see your child. There may be
times when a child is noticeably upset that the counselor may talk with your
child in an effort to help the child focus on his/her schoolwork. Although
our students are 2nd and 3rd graders, the counselor will make an effort to
uphold the student's confidentiality. However, if the counselor feels that
there is cause for concern, she will call the parent/guardian to notify them
of the problem. Parent confidentiality will be upheld according to the
