Dear Parents,
On another uniform note, we have been informed that Shoe Carnival carries boys & girls white tennis shoes year round. They have them from cheapest to most expensive. Students should wear tennis shoes that are solid school colors. Thank you for taking care of the skirt length problem!J
We will be having mini quizzes on the diagrams in Health. The test will be the diagram itself and will include the same word bank. Please help your student study the body parts. When a formal test will occur, students will be given a study guide. The study guide will be taken from the questions at the bottom of the text pages. I have students keep the text pages separate from the diagram pages for ease in studying.
We will not be having a Reading vocabulary test this week. In other news, we will be creating a Tall Tale in Language. My hope is to have them illustrate their stories and have them published in a book. I will be receiving the information soon & will inform you of the details asap. I hope it works out. I’m so excited!
Don’t forget about our Valentine Party on Tuesday, February 14. Please bring snacks &/or trinkets for each student. I have 24 students this year. Remember to include something for everyone. Items may be different for a boy and a girl but must include a similar item for everyone.

Health – review study guide for Test 1 tomorrow
Math – study for test tomorrow pg 204 #8-9 green (word problems, divide,
multiply, add/subtr fractions with & without common denominators &
with borrowing)
Tuesday- Math – Test 11
Health – Test 1
Homework: Spelling – finish writing words 5x each
Wednesday- No scheduled tests or quizzes
Homework: Study
Thursday- Spelling – Unit 25 Trial Test
Penmanship – Quiz 22 “T”
Homework: Math – pg 208 #7-8
Spelling – write words missed on trial test 5x each (on the test)
Health – study diagram worksheet “Your Framework” for quiz tomorrow
Friday (Warrior Day $1) – Spelling – Unit 25 Test
