May 7-11, 2012
This week, students
will continue working on A.D.D.
(Arithmetic Developed Daily) P.A.C.E.
(Problem, Already Know, Calculate, and
Explain) activities
when they enter into the classroom. These
activities will
review basic mathematical skills that will
help the students to
revisit previous learned concepts taught
throughout the year.
This week students will continue to work
on the
Finance Project that will focus on real
life skills, such as writing checks,
balancing a checkbook, using credit cards,
interest rates,
stock market values, etc. Monday - Friday
students will work in their
groups on their project. Students will
also be using the computer lab
to do research on their trip destination .
The Promethean Board, projector,
and graphing calculators will be used to
help facilitate the lessons.
