I have been teaching band for 8 years. This is my third year at Slidell Junior High. After graduating from Loyola University, I first began teaching band at Holy Cross School in New Orleans, followed by St. Tammany Junior High and Bayou Lacombe Middle. I am the band director at SJH and will also be teaching Guitar and General Music. My main instrument is euphonium, but I also have a trumpet, trombone, flute, piano, and guitar. My husband is also a musician, playing guitar, bass, drums, and piano. He is an English teacher at St. Paul's School in Covington. We have a 3 year old son, Brighton, who also loves music and enjoys playing the piano and drums at home. We are also expecting a baby girl this September!
