I am SUPER excited to start this school year off by studing wetland loss,
coastal erosion, water quality, and wetland hydrology. As we gain first hand
experience with the damagae to our gulf due to the oil spill, students should
be able to make the connection between their every day life and the science
of the world they live in. Someitme in September, students will take a
walking field trip to Bayou Bonfouca at Heritage Park to test for water
quality. Welcome to your first 9 weeks of 8th grade Earth Science where we
do things a little different in room 106!
