We will have our first test on Among the Hidden, the novel we are reading.
Chapters 1-10 will be covered on the test as well as bias.
****Bonus opportunity***Bring an article from a newspaper along with a brief
description of why the article is bias for, against, or neutral.
We will study propaganda beginning on Tuesday or Wednesday. Students will
need to bring newspapers and/or magazines demonstrating propaganda techniques
we will study.
We will also begin chapters 11-20 with vocabulary and study questions.
In English we will begin our unit on adjectives and adverbs, culminating in a
descriptive essay.
