I teach 7th & 8th Grade here at Slidell Junior High. I am in my 7th year of
teaching. I am from New Orleans and I currently commute daily to work. I
graduated from Warren Easton Senior High School in 1997 in New Orleans, La. I
received my Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and a Minor in English from
Louisiana Tech University.
I received my Master's Degree in Education from Southern University at New
Orleans. I have volunteerd for many agencies in Ruston and New Orleans. I was
a CASA Advocate for abused and neglected children. I am an Alumnus of
Southern University of New Orleans and Louisiana Tech University, in Ruston,
Louisiana. I will be pursuing my Doctoral (Phd) in the 2011-2012 school year.

and to think critically....We must remember that intelligence is not enough.
