Husky Hangout Happenings

Our daily schedule will be somewhat flexible and subject to change depending on the activities planned for the day. Below, you will find an outline of a typical day.

8:30-9:00--Drop off and Group Meeting
9:00-10:00--Block 1
10:00-11:00--Block 2
11:00-11:20--Snack/Recess
11:20-12:20--Block 3
12:20-1:20--Lunch/Recess
1:25-2:25--Block 4
2:25-2:45--Group Meeting
2:45-3:00--Pick up

Week 1 Activities

Fourth of July Theme Week--including t-shirt tie dye, cooking, candy hunt and more!
Phys. Ed. Games
Field Trip (Wednesday)
--York Wild Animal Kingdom
Fun Friday--4th of July BBQ including hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, and treats!

Week 2 Activities

International Theme Week--including multicultural crafts, cooking, and games from around the world
Phys. Ed. Games
Field Trip (Wednesday)
--Funtown Splashtown USA
Fun Friday--Curious Creatures

Week 3 Activities--Science Theme Week
Engineering Fun--including playing card structures, straw building, and Puff Vehicles
Computer Lab

--Museum of Science
Fun Friday--Mad Science

Week 4 Activities
Volcano Fun--We will make our own salt dough, form the volcano, and then make them erupt!
Computer Lab
Cooking Fun--including chocolate chip muffins, cinnamon buns, homemade ice cream and pizza!
Phys. Ed. Games
Field Trip (Thursday)
--Fisher Cats Baseball Game
Fun Friday--Bowling

Week 5 Activities--Survivor Theme!
Survivor Arts and Crafts--including designing your team's flag and buff!
Survivor Challenges--including obstacle courses, team challenges, individual challenges, and much more!
Balloon Brain--Can you use recycled materials to make a "skull" for a water balloon?
