I came to teach in Rutland in 1971 after teaching for a short time at
Marian High School which is now St. Peter/Marian. In those early days I was
Miss Viscosi and married in 1974. Yes, I'm still here and couldn't think of a
better place to be. I have truly enjoyed teaching 8th graders and watching
them as they anticipate moving on to high school. I have had the pleasure of
seeing many of my former students as parents and realize what a close knit
group we have been.
Over the years I have enjoyed membership on many committees, both in the
district as well as related to the Department of Education. I'm a lifelong
learner who is constantly taking advantage of courses and workshops offered. I
am passionate about what I do and hope that passion is infectious.
A sense of accomplishment at being able to do difficult mathematics
because of one's effort and hard work.
