3/14/11: We began working on a Top 10 list of ancient Greece. Students
created their top 10 list and are writing paragraphs for each entry. By
tomorrow students should have at least 5 paragraphs written. Many completed
3 in class today so they are well on their way to have 5 completed for
tomorrow.
3/28/12: Comprehension questions on The Rise of the Republic. FOLLOW
DIRECTIONS!
4/5/12: Today in class we watched a short video on Caesar crossing the Rhine
River. Please answer the first 3 questions on the handout. These are
opinion questions so I want to see developed sentences with your ideas and
thoughts.
4/9/12: Finish map on Roman Expansion through 50 BC and stamp commemorating
Spartacus.
4/12/12: Today we spent time analyzing an article on Roman builders. After
reading and discussing several questions and most importantly how to answer
these questions, we were left with one final "text based" question to answer
tonight. "How does Roman technology impact the world today?"
5/3/12: How did Roman government shape our own? 1 paragraph typed or
handwritten.
5/15/12: Review of the Roman Empire comprehension questions.
