May 21-25 Force and Motion Chapter 5
This week we will take chart notes on Chapter 5. Each day students will have an open note section quiz. Text books should be returned this week.
Monday- 5-2 Force notes
Tuesday- 5-3 Friction notes; 5-2 quiz
Wednesday-5-3 quiz;
Thursday- 5-4 notes and speed problems
Friday- Newton's 2nd law of motion problems


May 14-18 Please bring your text book for Friday.

Tuesday and Wednesday- Science and Technology MCAS
Thursday-Car and Ramp Lab: Gravity-Does gravity cause cars of different weights to travel at different speeds as they roll down a ramp? 
Friday- Friction Lab: How does friction affect motion?

May 7- 11
Monday- Wednesday Motion, Speed, Velocity, Acceleration- explaining and graphing. Students received a motion/graphing packet on Monday which is due Friday.
Thursday-Friday MCAS REVIEW- Science MCAS is next week. The Assistments students worked on throughout the year was meant to keep the information from Earth, Life, and Tech Ed class fresh in your memories. This week we will review techniques for answering open-response questions as well as play some clicker games to review Life and Earth Science. We'll play a game that uses Mr. Parr's youtube videos.  We will also "revisit" 7th grade Life Science so that "it will all come back" to you!
