Homework

Homework Policy

Homework is generally assigned for 2 nights a week. It is my expectation
that homework is neat, complete, and well done. Homework is not optional; it
is an expectation. I do not expect perfection; I expect students to read the
chapter, define the terms, reread the bolded area that is discussed in the
question and answer the question using clues from the text.

Absences: When the assignment is due the day of absence, students are
expected to pass it in the next day. When assigned during an absence,
students will be given 2-3 days to make up missed homework. All past
homework must be turned in after 1 week or the grade will reflect a zero on
PowerSchool.

Reminder: When answering questions use complete sentences and use part of the
question in your response.

******
New Homework Policy will begin for term 3
Late homework will only be accepted when accompanied by a parent note. The
parent must acknowledge he/she understands the assignment is late in the note.
All late homework will receive a deduction unless the student has been absent.
Thank you for your assistance; this will help students assume individual
responsibility for their assignments when they are due.
