Famous Mathematician Poster

Your class has been named after a famous mathematician (or a scientist who
used math extensively!) We need to find out some information about this
person, so you will need to do some research. You may use the internet to
find out information about your mathematician. Here are examples of types of
information you can look for:

•	When did he/she live?
•	Where did this person come from?
•	What kind of education did this mathematician get?
•	What is this person most famous for inventing/discovering?
•	How has this person’s invention or discovery impacted our lives?

Create a poster that would tell us (briefly) about the life and
accomplishments of your mathematician. Include at least 10 facts and include
pictures or drawings. Make it neat, make it colorful! These will be
displayed in the classroom for Open House.

Your class has been assigned one of the following mathematicians:

Albert Einstein Pythagoras

Fibonacci Grace Hopper

Archimedes
