SCHOOL HOUSE ROCK is Coming to Chocksett!!
The play, "School House Rock," will be presented by the Chocksett PTO!
Auditions are scheduled for both next Monday and Tuesday, (January 12th and
13th, from 3-5 PM.) Please plan to come on only one of the days to audition.
More information will be available in a flyer being sent home today and via a
connect-ed call/email and on the PTO Webpage. We do hope as many students as
possible will try out for, and participate in, this exciting undertaking.

2009 Eagles Basketball Season Begins
The 2009 Chocksett Eagles girl's and boy's basketball season begins with the
first game on Thursday, January 8th, against Thomas Prince School. This is a
home game, so come one and all to offcially kick off our 2009
season.

SCHOOLKIDZ,(Supply Kit ORDER FORMS) ARE COMING HOME TODAY.
Please take a look at them and decide if you would like to participate in
this program. It is being offerred as a courtesy to next years students who
will be entering grade 6th ,7th and 8th grade. Even if you choose not to
use the program, please use the supply list for your childs upcoming grade as
a tool to help you with your own individual shopping for supplies.

If you are going to purchase supplies through schoolKidz:
YOUR ORDERS MUST BE RETURNED TO SCHOOL NO LATER THAN JUNE 2, 2008 and
PICK UP of SUPPLIES WILL BE THE WEEK OF AUGUST 25th, in the MAIN OFFICE.

I am thankful for my family and frineds near and far.
I am thnakful for the smiles I see on the faces of students each day.
I am thankful for the parents who support our school and insist their
children work hard, obey rules and behave respectfully.
I am thankful for students who trust us enough to let us know if they are
having difficulties and I am most thankful for having the resources and a
great staff to be able to help each child with those needs.

Dear 8th Grade Parents,
it is none to soon to be thinking about where your 8th grader will attend
high school next year. If they are interested in attending Montachusett
Regional Vocational Technical High School, they should pass in their
application to the main offcie and ask the office to put the application in
my mailbox. I then have the 8th grade teachers give their input and have the
application mailed out with your childs transcipts and discipline history
for grades 7 and 8. Please keep in mind that Monty Tech does not consider
applications until second quarter grades are sent to them and for this
reason we have traditionally held applications until after quarter
two grades come out. If you have any questions about Monty Tech, please do
